Dani, the wife in the duo, was found unconscious in her bed two mornings ago, was briefly revived, and then slipped into a coma and passed away. She was 26. JBL on "water of the sun / water of the moon" http://www.aethereverywhere.com/discuss/topic/water-of-the-sun-water-of-the-moon#post-3957 Tue, 19 Jan 2010 17:28:05 +0000 JBL 3957@http://www.aethereverywhere.com/discuss/ hey all, its time to start talking about the recording of the le duo's first attempt at a 'studio' album, 'water of the sun / water of the moon' the dates are not 100% confirmed, but right now we're looking at march 6, 7, 13 & 14. heres what i'm thinking: saturday afternoon march 6- load in, set up, soundcheck, rehearse 'hell boils' then record. for this date i'll need jay, josh, jaime lynn, ginevra, rebecca, adrian & will sunday- rehearse & record that synth heavy track we played at the bean this past fall which i'm calling 'quicksand years' for this one i'll need jay, kevin, tanner, ginevra, & adrian. tear down & load out saturday afternoon march 13- load in, set up, soundcheck, rehearse & record a track i'm calling 'the untold want'- its a rock & roll number we played once before in august at the monkey. for this i'll need jay, josh & adrian- i hope to overdub some horns on this track later sunday- rehearse & record 2 improv pieces- a hard rocking number called 'dark night of the soul' & a trippier piece called 'the wine dregs'- for this i will need any and all musicians i can find or who want to show up. the more the merrier. i know this sounds pretty specific & confusing, and i know nothing works out the way one imagines it, but this is my outline for now. please, post on this thread & tell me what you think.
