I would actually recommend keeping me away from beer unless you really want to see a disgusting display of misery! Our main concern now is my Grandma, who is not taking it well - after 64 years of marriage, one can hardly blame her. She's going downhill rapidly and it's only a matter of time before she passes on, too. I'll continue working my regular shift, and spending the night at Grandma's until we have her situation under control. We're trying to get an assisted living/nursing home situation. I hate to send her to the home, but we may have no choice, as she's no longer really able to look after herself. She's confused, unable to prepare meals or even finish sentences, gets lost in her own backyard and is now grieving over Granddad. There will be no wake, no funeral and no obituary - Granddad will be cremated and his ashes spread. We don't know where yet. I think that he wanted as little fuss made about his own death as possible, and so we shall do as he wished.
